Limited Warranty
Boat Lift, U.S., Inc. hereafter referred to as the "Company", expressly warrants structural integrity of its boatlifts for a period of ten years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. Covered in the aforementioned warranty are: top beams, cradle beams and aluminum bunks.
The gearbox™ will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
The plate drive unit will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
The electric motor will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year (effective July 15, 2007) from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. Proper line voltage must be used. Generator use will void motor’s warranty.
Items such as belts, cables, pulleys switches, GFI's & bunk pads are covered under warranty from defects in material and workmanship for thirty (30) days.
The purchaser remedy is limited to repair and replacement of the defective part and in no event shall the purchaser be entitled to any incidental or consequential damages. Any implied warranties shall be limited to the duration of this limited warranty. This warranty does not cover ANY damage caused by improper installation or failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures. The distributer's address for the receipt of this notice is:

The remaining components will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. The Company agrees to provide the necessary parts during the warranty period described above, provided the Company receives notice of any such defects with the applicable specified warranty period. These warranties shall be deemed void and unenforceable, and the equipment shall be deemed sold "AS IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS", with the entire risk as to quality and performance to be borne by the original purchaser without any implied warranties of fitness or merchantability if any of the following should occur:
- If the equipment should be installed at any location other than the original purchaser's address specified in the sales agreement;
- If the equipment shall be used in any commercial fashion or in any way other than what it was designed for;
- If the original equipment was not installed properly by a licensed marine contractor, and properly wired by a qualified electrician;
- If the original purchaser or anyone not authorized by Boat Lift, U.S. makes any repairs to or alters in any way the original equipment;
- If the equipment has not been properly maintained or has been abused in any way;
- If the equipment is damaged by a natural disaster; or
- If the equipment is damaged by an installed canopy.
These warranties further do not cover any damage whatsoever including incidental and/or consequential damages. This warranty also does not cover any damage or injury resulting from the purchaser or any other person standing in or on any boat, platform or such other items, which are attached to the product or parts thereof.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Other than set forth above, the Company makes no express or implies warranty (including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness) relating to the product.
